If you have cavities, it's very important that you take care of them right away. When they're discovered early enough, cavities can be treated quickly and painlessly. Ignoring them can lead to pain and possible infection.  Prolonged lack of treatment may result in more significant, and costly, problems.

When you come into North Coast Family Dentistry, we'll give you a thorough examination. If cavities are found, Dr. Myers will talk to you about your filling options. There are different types of filling materials to use, including gold, amalgam (silver), and composite resin (tooth colored).

Dr. Myers will go over the pros and cons of each, and whichever type you decide on, now through the end of September, you'll get 15 percent off each one.

September Special: 50% off Bleaching Trays!

Let's face it: everyone likes having whiter teeth. When we smile, we want people to see our pearly whites, not our yellowish or stained teeth. If you are unhappy with the color of your teeth, now is the perfect time to come into North Coast Family Dentistry. For the month of September, we're offering our bleaching trays at 50 percent off!

There are many reasons why teeth lose their natural white color. These include:

• Normal wear of the outer tooth layer
• Excessive fluoridation during tooth development
• Stained teeth due to medications, certain food or drinks, or smoking

When you come in to North Coast Family Dentistry to have your teeth whitened, you'll need two visits. During the first appointment, impressions will be made of your teeth to create clear plastic trays. At your second appointment, your trays will be put on to make sure they fit, and any adjustments will be made.

Depending on the amount of staining or how white you want your teeth, the trays will be worn with a whitening solution either once a day for 1 to 2 hours, or overnight for a week or so.

We will of course give you all of the care instructions for you teeth as well as the bleaching trays. And if you come in before September 30, those trays will be half price. Don't wait any longer; let us help restore the beauty of your smile.
